| Additional Information: | 1995- "This rectilinear plan one-and-a-half story Bungalow style house has a front-gable design and Sanborn maps show that it was built between 1911 and 1922 for an unknown owner. The house has brick-covered foundation walls and main walls, mostly one-over-one double hung windows, and an asphalt shingle-covered gable roof that has dormers facing north and south. A nearly full-width gable roof entrance porch/sun porch spans the east-facing main facade. The otherwise mostly original state of the house is marred, however, by a shed-roofed one-story brick wing that was added to the north-facing side elevation after 1933. Consequently, because of this alteration and because the building has only a simple Bungalow style design, it is doubtful that it is individually eligible for architecture." - "USH 14 Transportation Study ", WisDOT ID #1646-07-00, Prepared by Timothy F Heggland (1995). |
