Additional Information: | In 1981, side porch - eastlake ornaments. ACCORDING TO SANBORN MAPS THIS BUILDING WAS THE WISCONSIN HOTEL (OR POSSIBLY THE WISCONSIN HOUSE HOTEL)IN 1911. IN 1923 IT WAS CALLED EITHER THE MILWAUKEE HOTEL OR THE MILWAUKEE HOUSE HOTEL. THE BUILDING WAS RESIDED IN VINYL BETWEEN 1981 AND 2006. A history of Black Creek contained in the 1911 history of Outagamie County states that the Wisconsin House was already extant by 1900 and this may a reference to the present building. |
