Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This brick structure has been painted a dark gray. The facade rises into a parapet which conceals the gable roof on the building. THIS BUILDING WAS DEMOLISHED SOMETIME BETWEEN 1982 AND 2011. This building was originally constructed as teh Empire Amuesement Hall. It is on the 1912 Sanborn Perris Map, but not in the 1912 City Directory. The map refers to the building as a dance hall and skating rink. Since its original use, the building has been used as a garage and, most recently, as a bar. It retains nothing of its original character.
