Additional Information: | ELABORATE SCROLLWORK ON TOWER WITH DECORATIVE WOOD BARGEBOARD RELIEF. THIS 19TH CENTURY FRAME CHURCH STRUCTURE ON AN ELEVATED STONE FOUNDATION IS COMPOSED OF MULTIPLE INTERSECTING GABLED FORMS AND IS ACCENTED BY A SQUARE TOWER. THE TOWER, COVERED BY A TRUNCATED PYRAMIDAL ROOF, IS DECORATED BY ELABORATE SCROLL WORK AT THE ROOF LINE THAT IS FURTHER DECORATED WITH BARGE BOARDS TRIMMED WITH AN APPLIQUED DESIGN. ROUND WINDOWS PENETRATE THE OPEN GABLE ENDS AND POINTED ARCHED STAINED GLASS WINDOWS ARE USED IN THE REMAINDER OF THE CHURCH. A FRAME ADDITION COVERING THE ORIGINAL GOTHIC ARCHED ENTRANCE EXTENDS IN FRONT OF THIS 19TH CENTURY CHURCH. |
