Additional Information: | 2012: Property has replacement windows. DESCRIPTION This two story cross gable house has clapboard siding, wood trim and wood shingles cross gables. Windows are regularled places on the cross gable form of the house and consits of single-pane double-hung sashes trimmed with simplw cornice lintels. Small porch overhangs cover the entrances. They feature hip roofs, turned post and a spool and spindal freieze. The house is a typical example of an early twentieth century cross or front gable house in Mequon. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This house was owned by John Lindner who own the property in 1867 through 1924. |
