Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This one and one-half story side gable house has stucco walls punctuated by small single-pane double-hung sashes. While its original construction dates to the antebellum era, it has additions from the early twentieth century. These additons incude the shed-roofed dormer projecting from the roof and a front porch with heavy square columns on wide piers. There are several one-story additions to the house. The form and massing of this house, along with its estimated date of construction suggest that this house might have a log or half-timber structural system. Further investigations may indicate wheather this is the case. |
