Additional Information:Metal cornice, carved stone, keystones over windows. Belott Hardware stuccoed over; Ben Franklin recently cleaned.

Isaac Hanson purchased the property from Reeder Smith in 1889 and operated a dry goods store with his son. In 1903, Charles Pomrening purchased the stock and the leased the building. In 1913, RH Kellner opened Kellner's Variety Store. In 1927, Kellner became a charter member of the Ben Franklin chain stores.

In 1935, the front of this building was thoroughly modernized adding new glass, new doors, and new light effects to highlight the storefront. By 1939, Kellner's store expanded into the adjoining building to the east. The two buildings were thoroughly remodeled, including two new double door entrances. In the 1970s, the buildings were divided and became separate businesses.

2020: Building no longer extant.
