Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This one and one-half story gabled ell house has clapboard siding and a low-pitched intersecting gable roof. Most of the windows openings are six-oversix light double-hung sashes topped with cornice lintels. In the half-story, some of the windows are smaller versions of the others. An ell porch covers the front of the house. It has plain wooden post and no balustrade. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This house was owned by Gerhard Blaese between 1857 and 1879. Later a woman listed only as widow Blaese (presumably Gerhard's widow) owned the property between 1880 and 1901. |
