| Additional Information: | THIS TWO-STORY RETAIL BUILDING, DESIGNED IN THE COMMERCIAL VERNACULAR STYLE, WAS BUILT IN 1870. IT FEATURES A CONCRETE FOUNDATION AND A COMBINATION OF WALL MATERIALS, INCLUDING BRICK, BOARD AND BATTEN, AND CONCRETE BLOCKS. BRICK, WOOD AND METAL COMPRISE THE TRIM. THE STRUCTURE, WHICH HAS HAD SUBSEQUENT ADDITIONS MADE TO IT, IS IN FAIR CONDITION. THIS BUILDING WAS HISTORICALLY KNOWN AS THE SALEM T. WRIGHT DOUBLE BUILIDNG AND AS THE J. P. SCHNEIDER BUILDING. CURRENTLY KNOWN AS SIDDALL'S PAINTING AND DECORATING, 514 W. WATER STREET HOUSES A RETAIL PAINT STORE, A REALTY AND APARTMENTS. ANOTHER MAP CODE FOR THIS STRUCTURE IS GL 13/10.
