Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION
The main house on this property is a two-story side gable building with steeply-pitched gable roof and clapboard siding. Windows have upper lights with vertical muntins and lower single lights. A large front porch has been partially enclosed. The old house has a lower one and one-half story front gable structure and a low-pitched gable roo, clapboard siding, and a crude window and door openings. It is in ruinous condition. A large fiedstone foundation on the property has been topped with a low roof. The foundation has several crude openings ansis in poor condtion. The L-shaped barn has a gable roof, board siding, fiedlstone foundation, numerous six-light window and large doors. A concrete silo sits at one end.

This house and agricultural out builings were owned by Briget Degan in 1867, J.M. O'Brain i 1873, and by Louis B. Kasten between 1920 and 1966. |
