| Additional Information: | This, the only octagon house in Oshkosh, is a late example of the house type introduced by Orson Fowler in the mid 19th century. This is a very chaste example constructed of clapboards with the only apparent decoration the frieze. A cupola may have decorated the roof at one point. Henry F. Kitts was a local contractor and Mayor of the city from 1924-1929. |
