NOTES
Additional Information:This church rests on a stone foundation and the roof is covered in asphalt shingles. Rectangular stained glass windows are protected by storm windows. Elements of the Greek Revivial style include a wide cornice and decorative pilasters. A central bell tower is located on the front. The entrance is located in the tower and is sheltered by a gabled portico. A modern one-story addition is located at the rear of the church.

The Clinton Methodist congregation was established near the community of Clinton in 1844. In 1857, land in the Village of Clinton was donated to the church and construction began the same year. The church has been remodeled in recent years and currently includes a modern kitchen, dining area, and auditorium.
