"This Queen Anne was designed by Fred Graf five years after he left James Douglas to established his own practice. A successful and popular architect of all building types, Graf built several homes in the Historic Concordia Neighborhood. The house features a steep gable with return eaves supported by paired brackets and a porch with delicate turned porch posts and spindles. In the 1920s, a major remodeling of the interior introduced a beautifully crafted fireplace made of tile from Claycraft Potteries in Los Angeles. Other details include the coved ceiling, hard oak and butternut woodwork. There are vintage lighting fixtures and Lincrusta, a high-end wall treatment, embellishes the wall to the second floor.

In the 1960s, Concordia College purchased the house and converted in into student housing. In 1982, the College sold the property to the Westside Conservation Corporation, the non-profit housing rehabilitation organization, which played a major role in the revitalization of the Concordia neighborhood in the 1980s and '90s."
