NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. July 2001-This two story, frame, Queen Anne farmhouse was built c. 1888, probably for A. Loos. It displays asphalt-shingled, gable and hip roofs and a clapboard finish. Wood shingles enliven the gable ends and 1/1 windows with simple surrounds appear on all facades. The farmhouse features a wrap-around front porch with Doric columns. Some of the window openings have been altered and board and batten siding has been installed on the east facing (side) façade. Statement of Significance: This farmhouse was probably constructed for A. Loos c. 1888. It was subsequently owned by H. Kobiske (from at least 1901 until at least 1912), Ed Kobiske (at least 1923 to at least 1953) and Leonard Kobiske (1968). Franklin and Bette Ferg owned it in 1995 and the current owners are Thomas and Donna Ferg.
