A late picturesque house, this two story frame structure is covered with clapboard while essentially without ornament. A complex hipped and gabled roof provided the irregular silhouette favored in the late 19th century. Window frames feature simple, blocky moldings. The porches have Tuscan columnettes, simple entablatures, and dentils.
