NOTES
Additional Information:DESCRIPTION
This one-story building is constructed of limestone rubble. It has a steeply-pitched gable roof with a narrow wooden frieze under the eaves. The windows have been replaced with modern casement windows and there is an addition to the side of the building. The windows have segmental stone arched and decorative shutters.

ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE
Mequon has a number of late nieteeth and early twentieth century schools, but few as old as this building. Because of the craftmanship of the building and its use as a schoolhouse, this building is significant in Mequon.
