Additional Information: CONGREGATION WAS FOUNDED IN 1842. 2023 - The St. Francis de Sales Church was constructed in 1892. This Late Gothic Revival church faces north and is constructed of cream brick. The church features a tall copper steeple with a circular rose window, gothic-arched windows, and engaged buttresses. A projecting gable-roofed vestibule with flanking gabled pavilions was added to the primary façade in circa 2005. A school building addition was constructed to the east in circa 1959; it is constructed of brown brick, with a flat roof, cornice with modillions, and a wide shingled band beneath the second story windows. A side-gabled addition was constructed to the west circa 1995 and features a north facing arched loggia.
