NOTES
Additional Information:"Circa 1888. Stick Style meaning "made of wood". This is an elaborate example of stick style. Note the decorative motif made of imbedded pebbles from area stone. There is a matching carriage house on the Madison Street alley that was used to store ice from the lake. Hay was used between the walls as insulation. The original house had many lightning rods, a sign of true Wisconsin architecture.

This house was built for Charles French, city attorney. The house was neglected for many years. The Kaminski family has fully restored it to its original architectural beauty, inside and out."
