SQUARE TOWER ON CNR. Powers founded the first industry in town: Northwestern Furniture Co. The second owners were Walter and Geanette Greene. Walter was a senator from 1873-1874 and 1887-1891. House was then owned by the Brown and Hunter families. Dr. and Mrs. Majerus converted the house into a hospital from 1921-1950. It then became a nursing home and finally, apartments. |
