Additional Information: | 2021: This 2-story Queen Anne house was constructed c.1900. It is rectangular in plan with red brick walls and an asphalt-shingled front-gable roof with multiple intersecting gables. The front elevation faces east and is asymmetrical in composition due to uneven fenestration. A 1-story enclosed porch spans the width of the façade; this features a hipped roof, board and batten siding, a central door, and pairs of 1-over-1 windows. The porch is accessed via a concrete stoop with metal handrails. Above the porch at the second story are two 1-over-1 windows with segmentally arched crowns and an off-center door. The wall under the gable above the second story is clad in decorative wood shingles and contains a central round-arched window. The front corners of the building feature projecting full-height bays capped with projecting, pedimented gables with scroll-cut detailing on the walls inside the gables. Single 1-over-1 windows with segmentally arched crowns are located at the first and second stories of the corner bays. Two gables of differing sizes project from each roof slope on the house’s side elevations; these gables share the same decorative shingles and round-arched windows as the primary gable. |
