| Additional Information: | A simple commercial structure distinguished by brickwork at the cornice line and three segmental arch openings. The lower storefront area has been altered. This building, which originally housed a grocery store, was constructed in 1884 after the fire which devastated this section of the block. The 1936 Belmont Success includes a photo of the structure which came to be known as the Chappell Building. |
