Additional Information: | A bracketed wooden cornice distiguishes this commercial building which has been altered (lower storefront enclosed) since the 1976 survey. Metal on the west side. A commercial structure which in 1936 housed Gugerty's barbershop. Obviously, other enteprises also occupied the building but, because of time limitations, these businesses remain unknown. The building is included in a 1910 photo featured in Belmont's bicentennial book. It was originally clapboard sided and characterized by a balcony above the first floor storefront area. |
