Additional Information: | This is a one, two and three story other vernacular styled building featuring a board exterior and an asphalt shingled irregular shaped roof. It first served as a barn from the 1850s to the 1950s, and later as a restaurant from 1964 to the present. The restaurant currently encompasses the former barn silos, and a train station. This station, known as the Trolley depot, was moved from its original Fontana site. The depot operated from 1899 to the late 1920s. Individuals associated with this building and the dates of their associations include the following: C. L. Douglass, from the 1850s to 1898; Joseph G. Stastny, from 1960 to 1968; and John and Linda Stevenson, from 1968 to the present. |
