Additional Information:Built between 1908 and 1915 (See Bib. Ref. A), this two-story Other Vernacular styled Power Plant features an irregular shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, a brick exterior, concrete articulation, a tile trim, and a tiled, gable roof. The plant which was constructed with iron trusses, is presently in good condition.

The historic names of this building include the Mineral Point Public Service Company, and the Wisconsin Power and Light Company. (See Bib. Ref. A). Currently, the building is known as the Wisconsin Power & Light Power Plant.

This building was designated locally, becoming part of the Mineral Point Landmark District in 1972.
