Additional Information: | One-and-one-half story, vernacular bungalow on rock-faced concrete block foundation and with an open porch, gabled roof dormer, some leaded glass windows but most are modern; wooden shingle siding. Leo Boehm was plant manager at Hardwood Products. 1996- "This vernacular bungalow rests on a coursed masonry foundation and is topped with a side-gabled roof covered with asphalt shingles. The end walls feature gable returns. A plain wooden frieze defines the separation of the upper story (covered with shingle siding) from the lowere (clapboard-sided) level. A pedimented, gabled dormer is centered within the roof. Four-over-one-light openings, as well as fixed windows with leaded-glass panes, cover the entire residence." -"Main St Overpass: Neenah, WI", WisDOT#4993-00-70, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd., (1996). |
