NOTES
Additional Information:The WHS waived its 30 day demolition notice on 2/18/2008 and is now a vacant lot. This large two and one half story building on a stone foundation has a hip roof, dormers, tall brick chimneys, and symmetrical facades.

Janesville's Unitarians, who had first worshiped in the city in 1842, built this church in 1866. The church was sold in 1901 to Dr. E.F. Woods, whose house on South Main Street had been razed to make room for the construction of the 1908 Public Library. According to the 1908 History of Rock County, Dr. Woods remodeled the church into a residence and into flats.

March 2005-This apartment building was originally constructed at the All Soul's Unitarian Church, one of Janesville's most important churches. Around 1902 it was remodeled into this apartment building.
