NOTES
Additional Information:The park consists of a half timber Tudor Period "community house," a reconstruction of Governor Doty's Grand Loggery (Map code 6/6) and landscaping by Elizabeth Thuerer (Appleton) and Wyman Phelps (Milwaukee). GIven to the city by C.B. (Bill) Clark, the park was the work of the park board (S.F. Shattuck, Dr J.M. Donovan, and Martin hanson), and was intended to meet the needs of the growing number of island residents. A performance of "Prunella" by the Winnebago players at the grand opening was the first outdoor production north of Milwaukee.

The property was previously surveyed in 1981 with a map code of 6/3 on a city engineers base map.

The land for Doty Park was donated to the city in 1922 by C.B. Clark and the park was officially was officially dedicated in 1928. Original landscaping was designed by Elizabeth Theurer of Appleton, while subsequent touches were done by Phelps Wyman, consultant of the park board from 1929 to 1932.
