It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation.

Originally located on a grassy hill at the UW Agricultural Farm near Arlington in Columbia County, the statue was moved to its current location in Waupun and dedicated in 1995.

As of 2012, the statue is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of W Brown St and Beaver Dam St.
