Additional Information:THIS ONE-STORY SIDE GABLED HOUSE WAS BUILT IN C. 1865. (SEE BIB. REF. A). IT FEATURES A RECTANGULAR SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, AN ALUMINUM SIDED EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED GABLE ROOF. THE NEARLY FULL-LENGHT PORCH PROJECTS FORWARD ON THE FACADE. TUSCAN COLUMNS ON FILLED IN RAILINGS SUPPORT THE SHED ROOF OF THIS PORCH. THE RESIDENCE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.

INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DWELLING AND THE DATES OF THEIR ASSOCIATION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: THOMAS MARTIN, FROM 1866 TO 1868; CALVERT SPENSLEY, FROM 1871 TO 1877; JOHN JACKSON, FROM 1885 TO 1905; AND WILLIAM ROTHE, FROM 1910 TO 1925. (SEE BIB. REF. A). THE PROPERTY, UPON WHICH THIS HOUSE NOW STANDS, WAS PART OF A MULTI LOT GROUP IN 1860.
