Additional Information:THIS TWO-STORY QUEEN ANNE STYLED HOUSE FEATURES AN L-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED GABLE ROOF. SLENDER TUSCAN COLUMNS AND A BALUSTRADED RAILING DISTINGUISH THE OPEN DESIGNED FRONT PORCH. THE REAR ELL WAS BUILT IN C. 1850, WITH THE LARGER HOUSE NOT APPEARING UNTIL C. 1900. (SEE BIB. REF. F, A). THIS RESIDENCE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.

INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DWELLING AND THE DATES OF THEIR ASSOCIATION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: WILLIAM PITTS, FROM 1866 TO 1875; JOHN PETERS, FROM 1880 TO 1910; AND JOHN GORGEN AND HIS HEIRS IN 1925. (SEE BIB. REF. A). THIS STRUCTURE HAS BEEN USED AS A HOUSE FROM C. 1850 UP TO THE PRESENT DAY. (SEE BIB. REF. A, F).
