NOTES
Additional Information:THIS TWO STORY, QUEEN ANNE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1904. (SEE BIB. REF. A). IT FEATURES AN L-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, A WOOD TRIM AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED GABLE ROOF. ALUMINUM SIDING REPLACED THE FORMERLY CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR AT AN UNSPECIFED DATE. A DORMER WITH A PEDIMENTED GABLE ROOF MIRRORS THE FORM OF THE LARGER, NEGHBORING FRONT GABLE AND THE OPEN GABLE END AT THE SIDE ELEVATION. STICK ORNAMENTS, PENDANTS, BARGEBOARDS AND BRACKETED EAVE RETURNS APPEAR IN THESE GABLES AND CHARACTERIZE THE STRUCTURE. THE WINDOWS ON THE FACADE HAVE DELICATE TRACERY AND PROMINENT CORNICES. AN OPEN DESIGNED PORCH HAS ITS ROOF SUPPORTED BY TUSCAN COLUMNS. ALSO PRESENT ON THE FACADE IS A ONE-STORY THREE-SIDED BAY. THE RESIDENCE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.

(NOTE: ANOTHER MAP CODE FOR THIS PROPERTY IS 55/20).

J. B. WALLACE WAS AN INDIVIDUAL ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DWELLING IN 1905. (SEE BIB. REF. A). JOHN SPENSLEY OWNED THE PROPERTY IN 1903, A YEAR BEFORE THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT.
