Additional Information:THIS ONE AND A HALF-STORY HOUSE WAS BUILT IN C. 1910. (SEE BIB. REF. A, F). IT FEATURES A SQUARE SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A RUSTICATED CONCRETE BLOCK FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED HIP AND GABLE ROOF. ACCORDING TO THE INVENTORY CARD DESCRIBING THIS PROPERTY, THE EXTERIOR WALLS ARE COMPOSED OF SIDING. The house has lost its decorative bargeboards, second story Gothic arched windows, brackets, and dentils. INTERSECTING WITH THE MAIN ROOF AT THE FRONT IN THE UPPER STORY ARE TWO GABLE ROOFS. BENEATH THESE GABLES ARE TWO, ONE-STORY, PROJECTING BAYS; A CENTRAL PORTICO IS NESTLED BETWEEN THEM. THE RESIDENCE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.

INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DWELLING AND THE DATES OF THIR ASSOCIATION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: WILLIAM LANYON, JR. AND HIS HEIRS, FROM 1875 TO 1915 AND WILLIAM SHOCKLEY IN 1925. (SEE BIB. REF. A). FROM 1868 TO 1873, HENRY OSBORN OWNED THE PROPERTY UPON WHICH THIS HOUSE WOULD LATER BE BUILT.
