Additional Information: | Two story, gable roof, rubble foundation, segmental arch windows, H-plan. This unusual H-plan brick house has a two-story Side Gable form main block with a symmetrical main facade and a similar but slightly less tall rear wing that is attached to the main block by a hyphen that is as tall as the main block and whose north side slopes down to a one-story level. The house has a fieldstone foundation and it is believed that all of its segmental-arched window openings now contain windows that are good modern replacements with snap-in muntins. Fond du Lac County plat books suggest that this house was part of a farmstead belonging to the Rosenbaum family as of 1874. |
