NOTES
Additional Information:Recent wood shingled awning over tile front, rounded ends, glass block. 2023: This 1-story Streamline Moderne diner was constructed in 1947 as Earl’s Lunch. It is rectangular in plan with a painted carrara glass façade and a flat roof with a slight center parapet. The front elevation faces south and is symmetrical in composition with a recessed center entrance flanked by curved walls, the upper portion of which are of glass block. On the outer sides of the glass block windows, plate glass windows with curved outer edges continue along the façade creating an overall appearance of horizontality and smooth lines. A modern vinyl awning spans the façade above the storefront.
