NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' titled "Lincoln Boulevard Historic District" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Two story brick Georgian Revival featuring broken pediment entry, arched window groupings on first flor and three gabled dormers piercing the cornice line. The side gable features a heavy wood entablature with cornice returns on the gable end. The house was built in 1931 for John and Isabel Savage. John was a dentist. Isabel was the daughter of Charles and Theresa Kulnick, who lived at 620 Cleveland Avenue (AHI #57886). In the late 1930s, the Savages bought the house at 1104 Lincoln Boulevard (AHI #58197) after its previous owner, Charles O. Drumm, was arrested for misappropriating $37,000 in funds from his position as cashier of the State Bank of Manitowoc. Windows replaced in 2021.
