Additional Information: | This series of three attached buildings are all one story with loft with gable roofs. The buildings are of frame clad in corrugated metal, windows in this grouping are 12 x 12 light casements with a 12-light window above. Loft windows were also originally 12 x 12 light casements. This building, like the one adjacent (MN57-05) was acquired by Manitowoc Shipbuilding in 1916 as part of their pre-WWI expansion. The building itself was part of the Manitowoc Glue Company and dates from c.1900. It has been somewhat altered over time although it is still faithful to its WWII configuration and still retains its basic original form. |
