NOTES
Additional Information:THIS TWO STORY, AMERICAN FOURSQUARE HOUSE FEATURES A SQUARE SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A CONCRETE BLOCK FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED HIP ROOF. A HIP ROOFED DORMER ECHOES THE DESIGN OF THE MAIN ROOF IN THAT THEY BOTH CONTAIN FLAIRED EAVES. THIS DORMER IS LOCATED IN THE ATTIC STORY AND IS CENTERED ON THE FACADE. ALSO ON THE FACADE IS A NEARLY FULL-LENGHT PORCH SUPPORTED BY SQUARED POSTS. A SQUARE GABLE IS PRESENT ELSEWHERE IN THE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN. OVER THE YEARS VARIOUS ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE DWELLING. FOR EXAMPLE, A LARGE DECK WAS ADDED TO THE NORTH SIDE; SOME OF THE WINDOW OPENINGS HAVE BEEN ALTERED; AND SOME HAVE BEEN FILLED WITH METAL REPLACEMENT WINDOWS. THIS RESIDENCE IS PRESENTLY IN GOOD CONDITION; IT WAS BUILT IN C. 1930. (SEE BIB. REF. A, F).

AN INDIVIDUAL ASSOCIATED WITH THIS LAND UPON WHICH THIS HOUSE WAS LATER BUILT WAS JAMES HARRIS JR. IN 1925.
