Additional Information: | A plain but relatively intact example of a once common commercial style, this building's architectural interest is compromised by a contemporary entry. Occupied by the Galesville Republican In the 1950.'s. This two-story, vernacular, "falsefront" building has been substantially modified over time. The store front has been filled and asbestos siding has been added. These modifications have severely compromised the original architectural quality of this building although it is contributive to the downtown district as "background." |
