Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. Front door was moved in 1956. Previously surveyed in 1975. "Built in 1896, this was once the oldest family mercantile business in Falls, serving the community for more than a century. While excavating for the new building, an old liberty pole was removed. The discovery reminded many of the Lincoln Campaign in 1890, when the pole was erected. " Discovering Historic Sheboygan Falls Walking Tour, not dated.
