NOTES
Additional Information:THIS FRONT GABLED HOUSE WAS DEMOLISHED IN 1989. IT FEATURED A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR AND A GABLE ROOF. CORNER BOARDS AND FRIEZE BOARDS ACCENTED THE STRUCTURE. PROMINENT ARCHITRAVES, OR CARVED LINTELS, APPEARED ABOVE THE WINDOWS ON THE FACADE. A FULL-LENGTH, SHED ROOFED FRONT PORCH WAS SUPPORTED BY TURNED POSTS. CARVED WOODEN SPINDLES WERE USED UNDER THE PORCH ROOF AND ON THE POST BRACKETS. ATTACHED TO THE DWELLING AT THE SIDE WAS A SHED ROOFED CARPORT. ACCORDING TO THE INTENSIVE SURVEY WHICH WAS CONDUCTED IN 1982, THIS RESIDENCE WAS CONSIDERED TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION. ALSO FOUND IN THE INTENSIVE SURVEY REPORT, UNDER THE HEADING "INVENTORY FORM FOR NOMINATED PROPERTIES," THE HOUSE CONTRIBUTED TO THE HISTORIC DISTRICT.
