Additional Information: | THIS TWO STORY, SIDED GABLED HOUSE FEATURES A RECTANGULAR SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM AND A SHINGLED, GABLE ROOF. DECORATIVE, PAIRED BRACKETS APPEAR BENEATH THE EAVES. SIMILARLY DESIGNED PAIRED BRACKETS ALSO ARE FOUND ON A WEST-SIDE, SQUARED, BAY WINDOW. A TRANSOM WINDOW AND SIDELIGHTS SURROUND THE FRONT DOOR. A CONTEMPORARY FRONT PORCH WAS ADDED ABOVE THE ELEVATED FOUNDATION. THIS RESIDENCE, BUILT BETWEEN 1866 AND 1871 (SEE BIB. REF. A), IS PRESENTLY IN GOOD CONDITION. JOHN CLOWNEY WAS THE INDIVIDUAL ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DWELLING FROM C. 1866 TO C. 1890. (SEE BIB. REF. A). |
