Additional Information: | THIS TWO STORY, GABLED ELL HOUSE FEATURES AN L-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, AN ALUMINUM/VINYL SIDED EXTERIOR AND A SHINGLED, MULTI-GABLED ROOF. LACE-LIKE BARGEBOARDS, A GABLE PENDANT, DECORATIVE EAVE LINE BRACKETS AND FRIEZE BOARDS EMBELLISH THE UPPER AREA OF THE STREET-FACING, OPEN GABLE END. A FRONT PORCH, LOCATED IN THE CRUX OF THE ELL, LEADS TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE. PANELING IS VISIBLE ONLY ON THE WALLS THAT THE PORCH ROOF SHELTERS. THIS RESIDENCE, BUILT IN THE LATE 1860'S (SEE BIB. REF. A, B), IS PRESENTLY IN GOOD CONDITION. THOMAS VINCENT WAS THE INDIVIDUAL ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DWELLING FROM 1871 TO 1875. (SEE BIB. REF. A, B). |
