Additional Information: | THIS TWO-STORY, FRONT GABLED HOUSE FEATURES AN L-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM AND A SHINGLED, GABLE ROOF. A SMALL, ONE-STORY, GABLED WING APPEARS ON THE NORTH SIDE. PROMINENT MOLDINGS, WITH LINTELS SHAPED IN A PEDIMENTED FORM, DECORATE THE WINDOWS AND DOORS. THE FRONT ENTRANCE IS FLANKED BY SIDELIGHTS AND TOPPED BY A FANLIGHT. BUILT BETWEEN 1848 AND 1858 (SEE. BIB. REF. A), THIS RESIDENCE IS PRESENTLY CONSIDERED TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION. INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DWELLING AND THE DATES OF THEIR ASSOCIATION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: M. E. EDWARDS, FROM 1843 TO 1853; AND THOMAS PRISK, FROM 1864 TO THE 1870'S. (SEE BIB. REF. A). |
