Additional Information: | This two and one-half story Queen Anne house has a complex hip and gbale roof with a large projecting bay and corner tower with a domical roof. The house is covered with aluminum siding. Windows are single light sashes as well as large single lights with decorative transoms. The front porch has been enclosed. Even though the original siding materials have been covered up the house still has the irrgular form and massing, and irregular plan, typical of the style. The unusual roof on the corner tower give sthis house added distinction. This was the home of Henry and Mary Durand between 1893 and 1917. Henry Durand was a grain dealer. It was the home of Alice and Perry Rogers between 1915 and 1926. Perry Rogers was a saleman. This house is not historically significant. |
