NOTES
Additional Information:This two and one-half story Colonial Revival house has a steeply-pitched roof with projecting dormers. Both the main roof and dormer roofs have returned eaves. The house has regular fenestration, and first story windows are decorated with transoms and pedimented lintels. The main entrane is decorated with a frontispiece of pilasters, sidelights, entablature, and faux wrought-iron balcony. Sun rooms project off of both ends of the house. A two-story square portico dominates the front facade. It is made up of a flat roof, paneled frieze, and four colossal Tuscan columns. This house is architecturally significant and potentially individually eilgible for the National Register of Historic Places as a fine example of the Colonial Revival Style. The overall symmetry of the plan and details, the simple classical features, and particularly, the outstanding portico, are all fine and well-executed details of the style. This is a well-preserved and outstanding Colonial Revival house.
