| Additional Information: | SEGMENTAL ARCHED WINDOWS. BRACKETED CORNICE. Resurveyed November 2012; changes include the replacement of the earlier metal stoop railings with stepped stone half-walls and the addition of a decorative crown and door surround around the door in the south elevation This 2-story Commercial Vernacular building was constructed in 1896 as a hotel; it currently functions as a restuarant. It is rectangular in plan with brick walls and a flat roof. The front elevation has an angled southwest corner with a first-story door and a 1-over-1 window above. The south elevation contains a central door with concrete stoop and pairs of 1-over-1 windows on each side; two 1-over-1 windows are located at the second story with a single doorway in between. The second-story door opens onto a small cantilevered metal balcony. A simply decorated cornice tops a parapet that runs across the facade of the building. |
