| Additional Information: | Photo code: FCS 4/19. This is a single story, front gabled shed used as the locktender's station. It is built on a cement foundation set into the lock embankment. Clad with drop siding and roofed with asphalt shingles, it has walls bounded by pilaster strips. A centered, panelled front door and a single window in each side wall have plain surrounds. The roof cornice has a crown molding. A metal smokestack protrudes from the downstream roof slope. |
