Impressive example of Tudor Revival in Wausau. Large scale house features stucco, brick, half-timber, and decorative stone work facing. A turret flanks the gabled entrance. John Mylrea was a Wausau lumberman who owned the Thunder Lake Lumber Company and was a partner in the Rib Lake Lumber Co. Although sharing attributes, previously and incorrectly identified as Tudor Revival. More appropriately termed French Provincial or French Eclectic. |
