Wausau's finest example of the Second Empire Style. Large scale house shows elaborate academic citations: quoined corners, modilioned cornice, columns flanking entrance, and lintels above first story windows, roundhead windows with hood molds. The house was moved from its original location at 532 Grant St. to its current location in 1912. It was also remodeled into apartments at that time.
