Additional Information: | Unused building built as an automobile garage and service station and which is an early example of both. The first floor of the whole building is built of rock faced concrete block with the front facade being faced in brick with the original multi-paned garage door, large two light display window and the entrance door to the office all intact. The front half of the building has a second story which is stucco sided and which is very slightly pushed over the first floor and which may indicate a slightly later date of construction. The Sanborn-Perris map of Green Bay for 1957 indicates that the rear of the building was used as a bus depot at one time. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4 |
